Cartridge Startup
1. Connect the support stems together and press onto main body to create a single device.
2. Slide the entire device into the core of your existing spa filter cartridge.
If your spa filter cartridge is:
- Open Top
Simply slide unit in from the top. Position near the top half of the cartridge. (Support stems may be cut to position
the cartridge correctly.)
- Open Top with Standpipe
Some spa filter systems are configured with a standpipe running the length of the filter core. Simply slide unit in
from the top. Position near the top half of the cartridge for easy retrieval.
- Closed Top
Simply slide unit in from the bottom. Position unit to rest on shelf inside filter core.
Note: When installed, the Spa Purifier must be at least 1" above the bottom of the filter to prevent blocking water flow.
Spa Maintenance Recipe
Ingredients:
- Nature² Purifier
- Non-Chlorine oxidizer (potassium peroxymonosulfate)
- Test Kits (pH, Total Alkalinity)
- pH & Total Alkalinity adjusting chemicals
- Ozonator (optional)
- Sodium dichlor (chlorine granules) for Purifier Startup and occasional shock

Add 1 teaspoon of sodium dichlor to spa per 250 gallons

Run spa according to recommendation supplied to you by the
manufacturer of your spa. |
| Before each use |
Add 1 tablespoon of potassium peroxymonosulfate to spa per 250 gallons. |
| Once a week |
After using the spa, add 3 tablespoons of potassium peroxymonosulfate to spa per 250 gallons.
Check and adjust pH and Total Alkalinity.
If water does not stay clear for any reason, substitute 1 or 2 teaspoons of dichlor for the once-weekly shock of potassium peroxymonosulfate.

Drain and refill your spa.
Replace Nature² Purifier and repeat Purifier start-up. |
| As needed |
If water looks hazy, shock treat with 1 or 2 teaspoons of
sodium dichlor per 250 gallons. |
